Red Chile Honey Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Clover honey |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Ground roasted New Mexico chile |
In small saucepan, heat honey over medium heat until melted, stirring occasionally, 2 to 3 minutes. Mix in ground chile. Remove pan from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
Pour honey into small serving pitcher or cup. Serve warm. Leftover honey keeps 1 to 2 days. Warning: The longer it sits, the hotter it gets! Warm before serving.
