Bloody Mary Cocktail Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
4 | Ripe tomatoes - coarsely chopped | |
2 | Celery stalks - coarsely chopped | |
1 | Onion - coarsely chopped (medium) | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Ketchup |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Grated fresh or prepared horseradish |
1 | Lemon - juiced | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Hot sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | Pepper vodka | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Celery seed |
Sea salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Combine the tomatoes, celery, and onion in a blender and puree to break the vegetables down. Add the remaining ingredients and puree until smooth.
Chill before serving with a raw seafood bar.
This recipe yields 4 cups.
