Cranberry-Orange Conserve

Recipe Ingredients

1   Unfiltered cranberry juice
1/4 cup 59mlApple cider
1 cup 198g / 7ozSugar
1   Orange - peel cut large
  Strips
1 tablespoon 15mlGrated ginger
2   Bay leaves
1 cup 237mlToasted hazelnuts
1 tablespoon 15mlBalsamic vinegar
1 lb 454g / 16ozFresh cranberries

Recipe Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine cranberry juice, apple cider, sugar, orange peel, ginger, and bay leaves. Simmer until the mixture is reduced by half, about 20 minutes. Add the nuts, vinegar, and cranberries. Continue to cook until the cranberries burst, about 15 minutes.

This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
