Barbecue Dry Rub Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Paprika |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Granulated garlic |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Granulated onion |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Peppercorns |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chili powder |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cumin seed - toasted |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Coriander seed - toasted |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Kosher salt |
| 1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Light brown sugar |
| 1 | Chicken - cut in pieces |
Combine all ingredients in a clean coffee grinder. Rub on chicken directly or coat in a plastic storage bag. Make sure chicken is dry before applying.
This recipe yields approximately 1 1/2 cups.
