Tuna And Vegetable Chowder

Recipe Ingredients

4 cups 948mlWater
5 teaspoons 25mlChicken, vegetable or onion base
3 oz 85gCabbage - shredded
5 oz 142gFrozen chopped broccoli
5 oz 142gFrozen carrot slices
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlDried thyme leaf
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlTabasco brand Pepper Sauce
2   Tuna in water - (6 to 7 oz ea)

Recipe Instructions

In a large saucepot, bring water to boil; add base and stir until dissolved. Add cabbage; simmer 15 minutes.

Stir in broccoli, carrots, thyme and Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce; simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Add tuna just before serving.

This recipe yields 4 (12-oz) servings.
