Tortilla Crusted Wings With Spicy Cheese Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
12 | Chicken wings, fresh or thawed - washed | |
1 cup | 237ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce - (marinade) |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Coarsely-crushed tortillas |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Seasoned flour |
3 | Eggs - beaten | |
Spicy Cheese Sauce | ||
8 oz | 227g | Cheddar cheese sauce |
1 oz | 28g | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
Marinate the wings in 1 cup of Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce for approximately 1 hour.
Standard breading method: Dip wings into flour mixture, then egg wash and then tortillas to coat evenly.
Deep fry for 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked through. Remove and drain well. Serve with Spicy Cheese Sauce.
To make the Spicy Cheese Sauce, combine the cheddar cheese sauce and Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce. Mix well. Serve warm.
This recipe yields 1 dozen wings.
