Passionate Strawberry Shortcake

Recipe Ingredients

1		Nine-inch chocolate cake
4 cups	948ml	Sliced strawberries
2 tablespoons	30ml	Sugar
1 teaspoon	5ml	Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce
1 tablespoon	15ml	Honey
		Whipped cream - as needed

Recipe Instructions

Combine strawberries, sugar, Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce and honey. Stir well and allow to rest for 1/2 hour.

Cut cake in half. Top the bottom half with 2 cups of marinated strawberries and whipped cream. Top with second half of cake. Top with remaining strawberries and whipped cream.

This recipe yields 1 cake.
