Hot And Cold Crab Dip Recipe - Cooking Index
A light Summer appetizer, ideal for Labor Day, Fourth of July and other celebrations.
Courses: Dips and Spreads, Starters and appetizers12 oz | 340g | Cream cheese |
12 | Cocktail sauce | |
8 oz | 227g | Crab meat |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Old Bay Seasoning |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Brandy |
50 | French bread croutons | |
= (toasted French Bread slices) | ||
1 cup | 237ml | Pesto |
Whip cream cheese in a mixer until smooth. Add cocktail sauce, Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce, Old Bay Seasoning and brandy. Mix well.
Add crab meat and mix in until crab meat starts to shred.
To serve, brush croutons with pesto and top with 1 tablespoons of crab dip.
This recipe yields 50 pieces.
