Bourbon Chicken Wrap Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Soy sauce |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Pineapple juice |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Bourbon whiskey - (4 oz) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce - (1 oz) |
2 1/4 lbs | 1021g / 36oz | Boneless skinless chicken breast |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Tabasco Bourbon Sauce - (6 oz) - (see recipe) |
12 | Flour tortilla - (12" dia) - grilled | |
6 cups | 960g / 33oz | Tabasco Red Bean And Rice Mix - (60 oz) - (see recipe) |
1 3/4 cups | 109g / 3.8oz | Minced onion |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Chopped fresh parsley |
To prepare the chicken marinade, combine the soy sauce, pineapple juice, bourbon and Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce. Marinate the chicken in the marinade for 15 minutes. Grill the chicken and cut into strips. Hold warm.
For each serving, spread 3/4 of one tortilla with 1 tablespoon of Tabasco Bourbon Sauce. Top with 1/2 cup of Tabasco Red Bean And Rice Mix, 1 tablespoon of onion, 2 1/2 ounces of chicken and 1 teaspoon of chopped parsley. Roll up tightly, ending with the uncovered portion of the tortilla.
