Blue Cheese Stuffed Wings Recipe - Cooking Index
12 | Chicken wings, fresh or thawed - washed | |
1 cup | 237ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce (marinade) |
3 oz | 85g | Blue cheese - broken |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Fresh bell pepper in small dice |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Seasoned flour |
Tabasco Spiced Butter | ||
8 oz | 227g | Salted butter |
1 oz | 28g | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
Marinate the wings in 1 cup of Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce for approximately 1 hour.
Make a small incision about 1/4-inch wide across one end of the wings. Push into the incision to create a pocket.
Place 1/4 ounce of the blue cheese into each wing. Set wings in the freezer for approximately 1 hour.
Toss wings in seasoned flour mixture. Deep fry for 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked through. Remove and drain well.
Toss with the Tabasco Spiced Butter until well coated and serve hot.
To make the Tabasco spiced Butter, soften/melt butter in microwave for approximately 2 to 3 minutes on high. Do not boil butter. Whisk in 1 ounce of Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce. Hold at room temperature until needed.
This recipe yields 1 dozen wings.
