Spicy Southwest Grilling Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Ketchup |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Light brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cider vinegar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Ground cumin |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
Combine ketchup, brown sugar, Tabasco Sauce, cider vinegar, cumin and mustard in 1-quart saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium heat; reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Use mixture as a marinade and grilling sauce for ribs, steaks and burgers.
This recipe yields 2/3 cup.
