Sassy Endive Slaw Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Large heads endive | |
1 | Red or green bell pepper (small) | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cider vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dijon mustard |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
Cut endive lengthwise into 1/4-inch wide pieces. Cut pepper into julienne strips.
Combine olive oil, vinegar, Tabasco Sauce, mustard and salt in medium bowl. Add endive and pepper; toss to mix well.
Serve as an accompaniment to fish, chicken or meat.
