Pep-It-Up Pepper Sandwich Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Sour cream |
2 | Scallions - sliced with tops | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Grainy Dijon mustard |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Prepared horseradish |
1 | Spam Less-Sodium luncheon meat - (12 oz) - sliced 4 pieces | |
4 | Kaiser rolls - split, toasted | |
1 cup | 237ml | Peloponnese roasted sweet red peppers - sliced |
1 | Green bell pepper - cut into rings | |
1 cup | 237ml | Banana peppers - sliced |
In small bowl, combine sour cream, scallions, mustard, and horseradish; set aside. In large skillet over medium-high heat, lightly brown Spam slices on both sides.
Spread 1 tablespoon of sour cream mixture on each of four roll halves. Top with Spam, peppers, and remaining sour cream mixture. Place tops of rolls on sandwiches and serve.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
