1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Lean ground beef |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Ground turkey breast |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - chopped (large) |
3 | Pinto beans - (15 oz ea) - undrained | |
1 | Frozen corn - (16 oz) | |
1 | Chopped tomatoes - (14 1/2 oz) - undrained | |
1 | Chopped tomatoes with green chiles - (10 oz) | |
1 | Taco seasoning mix - (1.4 oz) |
In Dutch oven over medium heat, cook beef, turkey and onion 10 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink and onions are soft; drain well.
Add beans, corn, tomatoes, tomatoes with green chiles and taco seasoning mix. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. (Do not overcook or you'll have mush.)
This recipe yields 8 servings.
