Garden Chowder With Fresh Dill

Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozBulk sausage or ground chicken
1 lb 454g / 16ozOnion - chopped (medium)
1 lb 454g / 16ozGreen pepper - chopped (medium)
2   Cream of potatoes soup - (10 1/2 oz ea)
1   Chicken broth - (15 oz)
1 cup 237mlHeavy cream
1 cup 237mlMilk
1   Frozen chopped broccoli - (10 oz)
  (or fresh broccoli, blanched)
1   Frozen chopped cauliflower - (10 oz)
  (or fresh cauliflower, blanched)
1   Frozen cut corn - (10 oz)
1 tablespoon 15mlFresh dill
2 tablespoons 30mlFresh parsley
1 tablespoon 15mlChopped chives

Recipe Instructions

Cook ground meat in small amount of water in skillet; drain. Place in large pan and add onion and green pepper; saute. Stir in potato soup, broth, cream and milk; bring to boil. Add broccoli, cauliflower, corn, dill and parsley. Boil for 5 minutes; then simmer for 40 minutes, until vegetables are tender. Sprinkle servings with chopped chives.

This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
