Seafood Marinara - 1 Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
1/2 | Onion - finely chopped | |
2 | Garlic - finely chopped | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | White wine |
3 cups | 711ml | Good quality tomato sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Red pepper flakes |
10 teaspoons | 50ml | Shrimp - peeled and deveined (large) |
10 | Scallops - rinsed | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped parsley |
12 oz | 340g | Angel hair pasta or vermicelli - cooked and drained |
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Stir in onion and cook for 2 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add white wine and simmer for 2 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce and red pepper flakes.
Bring sauce to a simmer and stir in the shrimp. Cook for 1 minute and stir in scallops. Simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in parsley and toss with pasta. Serve immediately.
