1 | Tiny shells or cavatelli - uncooked | |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Celery - thinly sliced |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onion - chopped |
1 | Garlic - minced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Milk |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Monterrey jack cheese - shredded (4 oz) |
12 oz | 340g | Shrimp |
1 | Ca clams minced and undrained | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh parsley |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dry sherry |
Cook pasta according to directions. Rinse under cold water and seet aside. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add celery, onion, and garlic.
Sautee3 minute. Add flour, stir until smooth. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened. Stir in cheese until melted.
Stir in shrimp, clams, parsley and sherry. Stir in pasta.
