Andes Shrimp And Corn Main-Dish Chowder

Recipe Ingredients

1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozChopped green onions
1 cup 93g / 3.3ozGarlic clove - minced (small)
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlCayenne pepper
1 tablespoon 15mlButter - (to 2 tbspns)
2 cans  Cream of potato soup
1 packet  Cream cheese - (3 oz) - softened
1 can  Milk - (to 1 1/2 cans)
2 cups 474mlFrozen cleaned raw shrimp
1 can  Whole kernel corn - (8 oz) - not drained

Recipe Instructions

In saucepan, cook onions with garlic, cayenne pepper, and butter until tender.  Blend soup, cream cheese and milk.  Add shrimp and corn.  Bring to boil, stirring often.  Reduce heat and cover.  Simmer 10 minutes or until done.
