Bachelor Meat Stew Recipe - Cooking Index
Put meat in pan first and add some meat tenderizer if desired.

2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Stewing beef - in chunks |
6 | Carrots - cut up | |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Cut-up celery |
16 oz | 454g | Canned tomatoes |
8 oz | 227g | Tomato sauce |
4 oz | 113g | Potatoes - quartered (medium) |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Tapioca |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
Place all ingredients in a tightly covered Dutch oven (heavy 5-quart pot with tightly fitting cover). Bake in 300 degree oven for 5 hours. Do not open at any time. Do not increase amounts of ingredients.
