1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground beef |
4 cups | 948ml | Water |
1 | Tomatoes - (16 oz) | |
1 cup | 237ml | Uncooked elbow macaroni |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Instant minced onions |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
2 cups | 320g / 11oz | Frozen cut green beans - or other vegetables |

Brown beef in a large skillet, stirring to crumble; pour off excess fat. Add water, undrained tomatoes, macaroni, Worcestershire sauce, onions and salt. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add beans; continue to simmer, covered, 5 to 10 minutes longer, until beans and macaroni are tender. Serve sprinkled with cheese.
This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
