Savory Beef Potage

Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozLean ground beef
4 cups 948mlWater
1   Tomatoes - (16 oz)
1 cup 237mlUncooked elbow macaroni
2 tablespoons 30mlWorcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon 15mlInstant minced onions
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
2 cups 320g / 11ozFrozen cut green beans - or other vegetables
  Shredded Cheddar cheese

Recipe Instructions

Brown beef in a large skillet, stirring to crumble; pour off excess fat. Add water, undrained tomatoes, macaroni, Worcestershire sauce, onions and salt. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add beans; continue to simmer, covered, 5 to 10 minutes longer, until beans and macaroni are tender. Serve sprinkled with cheese.

This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
