Ranchero Supper Stew

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlOil
1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24ozBeef cubes
1   Lipton Onion Soup Mix
2   Whole tomatoes - (16 oz) - undrained
1 cup 237mlWater
2 teaspoons 10mlChili powder
2   Carrots - thinly sliced
1   Green pepper - chopped
1/2 cup 55g / 1.9ozCelery - thinly sliced
2   Potatoes - diced

Recipe Instructions

In large skillet, heat oil and brown beef; add onion soup mix blended with tomatoes water, and chill powder. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.

Add carrots, green pepper, celery and potatoes; cook covered 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender and gravy is slightly thickened.

This recipe yields about 6 servings.
