Fresh Strawberry Yogurt Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
3 cups | 438g / 15oz | Chopped fresh strawberries |
1/4 | Wildflower or clover honey | |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Gjetost cheese |
1 cup | 237ml | Orange juice |
1 cup | 237ml | Nonfat plain yogurt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 cup | 237ml | Sliced strawberries - for garnish |
Puree chopped strawberries in a food processor or food mill. Over medium heat, gently warm puree with honey. Add Gjetost and stir until melted. Do not overheat or boil. Remove from heat and stir in orange juice, yogurt and vanilla.
Chill and serve garnished with sliced strawberries.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
