Smoked Sausage Stew Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Condensed bean and bacon soup - (11 1/2 oz ea), undiluted | |
1 | Diced tomatoes - (14 1/2 oz) - undrained | |
2 cups | 474ml | Water |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Potatoes - diced (medium) |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Sliced carrots |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Sliced celery |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chili powder |
12 oz | 340g | Fully cooked smoked sausage - thinly sliced |
In saucepan, combine soup, tomatoes and water. Add potatoes, carrots, celery and chili powder. Cover and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Add sausage; simmer 40 minutes longer.
This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
