2 tablespoons 30mlCornstarch
3 cups 711mlMilk
3 cups 711mlHot chicken broth
2 cups 474mlGround peanuts
2 tablespoons 30mlGrated onion
2 teaspoons 10mlSalt
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlCayenne pepper - (optional)

Recipe Instructions

Place cornstarch in a deep saucepan. Slowly add milk, stirring until smooth. Add chicken broth, peanuts, onion, salt and cayenne pepper if desired, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat 5 minutes.

Beat with a rotary beater for 1 minute. Serve hot.
