Cream Of Peanut Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cornstarch |
3 cups | 711ml | Milk |
3 cups | 711ml | Hot chicken broth |
2 cups | 474ml | Ground peanuts |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Grated onion |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Cayenne pepper - (optional) |
Place cornstarch in a deep saucepan. Slowly add milk, stirring until smooth. Add chicken broth, peanuts, onion, salt and cayenne pepper if desired, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat 5 minutes.
Beat with a rotary beater for 1 minute. Serve hot.
