Market Street Lobster Clambake

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 237mlSauterne cooking wine (or plain water)
2 tablespoons 30mlButter
  Juice of 1 lemon
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
1   Lobster (1 1/2 to 2 lbs) claws and tail
  Only
8   Cockles
8   Mussles
3   White potatoes - pre-boiled and
  Quartered
1   Corn - pre-boiled
2 tablespoons 30mlChopped fresh parsley

Recipe Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan. Cook, covered, over medium heat until mussles and cockles open -- approximately 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat.

Serve with drawn butter.
