Scallops With Green Onion Butter Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Bay or calico scallops |
(or sea scallops cut in quarters) | ||
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter or margarine - softened |
1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Minced green onion |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pressed garlic |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced fresh parsley |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground white pepper |
In a small bowl combine the butter or margarine, onions, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.
Place scallops in four individual shells, ramekins or small oven proof bowls. Dot scallops with green onion butter mixture. Bake at 450 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
