Simple Salmon Chowder

Recipe Ingredients

3 tablespoons 45mlButter
1 tablespoon 15mlOnion - diced (large)
1 1/2 cups 165g / 5.8ozDiced celery
4 cups 584g / 20ozOr 3 large potatoes - diced (medium)
2 tablespoons 30mlCornstarch - (rounded)
1   Evaporated milk - (12 oz)
1 1/2 cups 355mlCooked salmon - (to 2 cups)
  (2 small cans or 1 large can)

Recipe Instructions

Saute celery and onion in butter until brown. Add potatoes and enough water to cover. Simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are done.

Stir cornstarch into about 1 cup water and add to mixture. Increase heat to thicken. Add milk and salmon and serve when hot.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
