Summer Slaw For Barbequed Salmon Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Mayonnaise |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Sugar |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cider vinegar |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Minced fresh parsley |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Finely-shredded green cabbage |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Finely-shredded red cabbage |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Coarsely-grated seeded cucumber - well-squeezed |
| To remove liquid | ||
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Coarsely-grated carrot |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely-minced red bell pepper - (optional) |
In a large bowl blend together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and parsley.
Just before serving, add the remaining ingredients and toss well.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
