Lemon Butter

This simple butter is ideal as a dipping sauce for crab or shrimp, steamed mussels or clams. It's one of the suggested accompaniments for the "New England Clambake." The butter will solidify as it cools; gently reheat before serving, if necessary.

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozButter or margarine - (1 stick) - melted
1 tablespoon 15mlFresh lemon juice - (to 2 tbspns)

Recipe Instructions

Combine the butter and lemon juice in a small bowl and stir to mix well.

This recipe yields about 1/2 cup.
