Lemon Butter Recipe - Cooking Index
This simple butter is ideal as a dipping sauce for crab or shrimp, steamed mussels or clams. It's one of the suggested accompaniments for the "New England Clambake." The butter will solidify as it cools; gently reheat before serving, if necessary.
Type: Fish1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter or margarine - (1 stick) - melted |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lemon juice - (to 2 tbspns) |
Combine the butter and lemon juice in a small bowl and stir to mix well.
This recipe yields about 1/2 cup.
