Indian Yogurt Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
An Eastern blend of authentic aromatic spices cloaks any fillet of fish with a veil of delicious low-fat flavor.
Type: Fish1 cup | 237ml | Plain nonfat yogurt |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Red onion - chopped (small) |
2 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced crystallized ginger |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Ground cumin |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Nutmeg |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground cloves |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground cardamom |
Blend all ingredients well and pour over fish in zip-lock bag to marinate before cooking.
