1 1/4 lbs 567g / 20ozWhite American cheese - diced or shredded
2/3 cup 157mlMilk
1/2 cup 31g / 1.1ozDiced onion
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozDiced Anaheim chiles
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozChopped canned sliced jalapeños
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozDiced canned whole peeled tomatoes
1 teaspoon 5mlChopped fresh garlic
3/4 teaspoon 3.8mlGround cumin
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlFreshly-ground black pepper

  Tortilla chips

Recipe Instructions

Heat the cheese and milk in double boiler until melted and smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.

Transfer the fondue to a lit and warm fondue pot or small chafing dish. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
