1/4 cup | 59ml | Sour cream |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Blue cheese - (abt 4 oz) - crumbled |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Finely-chopped fresh chives |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Milk or water - (to 2) |
1/2 | Iceberg lettuce head - coarsely shredded | |
2 | Watercress - stems discarded | |
3 | Celery ribs - thinly sliced | |
On the diagonal |
Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, cheese, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and thin with milk or water to desired consistency.
Toss iceberg, watercress, and celery in a large bowl and drizzle with dressing.
