8 oz | 227g | Claret |
= (or other dry red wine) | ||
1 | Angostura bitters | |
2 | Whole cloves - (to 3) | |
1 | Small piece cinnamon stick | |
1 | Lemon peel twist | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Superfine sugar |
1 | Allspice |
Combine all ingredients in a small, heavy saucepan and heat, but do not allow to boil. Strain into an 8-ounce mug.
