Hot And Sour Cabbage Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Napa cabbage - (1/2 head) - thinly sliced |
1 | Scallion - thinly sliced | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Seasoned rice vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced peeled fresh ginger |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried hot red pepper flakes - (to 3/4) |
Put cabbage and scallion in a large bowl. Bring vinegar, ginger, sugar, and red pepper flakes (to taste) to a boil in a small saucepan over moderate heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour hot dressing over cabbage, tossing to combine.
