Crab-Boil Spices Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Pickling spices | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mustard seeds | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Whole black peppercorns | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Celery seeds | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dried hot red pepper flakes | 
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Ground ginger | 
| 5 | Bay leaves | |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dried oregano | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dried minced chives | 
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Sea salt | 
In a food processor combine all ingredients and pulse until mixture forms a coarse powder. Crab-boil spices keep in a well-sealed container for several months in a cool, dark place.
This recipe yields about 1 cup.
