Summer Lettuce Salad With Buttermilk Dressing

Recipe Ingredients

4 cups 160g / 5.6ozGreen leaf lettuce - (packed) - rinsed, crisped,
  And broken into pieces
1 cup 237mlShelled fresh green peas - uncooked
  Buttermilk Dressings
2 tablespoons 30mlPrepared mustard
2 tablespoons 30mlCider vinegar
1 tablespoon 15mlLight brown sugar
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1 teaspoon 5mlPaprika
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlHot red pepper
1 cup 237mlButtermilk

Recipe Instructions

Divide the lettuce onto 4 chilled luncheon plates. Top each serving with peas. Drizzle dressing over salads.

Buttermilk Dressing: Stir together the mustard, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, paprika, and red pepper in a pint jar with a tight-fitting lid. Add the buttermilk; cover and shake until combined. (Makes about 1 cup)
