Marinated Coleslaw Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 | Cabbage head - shredded (large) | |
| 1 | Onion - chopped fine | |
| 1 | Green bell pepper - chopped fine (large) | |
| 1 | Celery stalk - chopped fine | |
| 1 1/2 cups | 297g / 10oz | Sugar |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Cider vinegar |
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Cottonseed oil or vegetable oil |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Salt |
Combine cabbage, onion, pepper, celery, and sugar. Mix and set aside.
Combine vinegar, oil, and salt in a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage mixture and stir well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
This recipe yields 10 to 12 servings.
