Strawberries And Spiced Honey Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Wildflower honey |
= (whatever is native to your region) | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chipotle chile powder |
= (cayenne can be substituted) | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Fresh lemon juice |
Crushed ice | ||
6 cups | 1422ml | Ripe whole strawberries - washed |
Combine the honey with the chipotle chile powder and the lemon juice. Allow to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Spoon the honey into small ramekins and place each ramekin in the center of a large shallow wide-rimmed soup bowl. Arrange crushed ice around the ramekins. Place the strawberries on the ice and serve.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
