1/4 cup | 59ml | Sherry vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced shallots |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1/2 cup | 118ml | Canola oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Walnut oil |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Mesclun salad |
1 cup | 237ml | Toasted walnuts |
Stilton cheese - for serving |
Whisk together vinegar, shallots, salt and pepper. In a slow stream add the oils. Set aside.
Toss together greens, walnuts and dressing. Serve with Stilton cheese.
