Berry And Ginger Sour Cream Brulee

Recipe Ingredients

3 cups 330g / 11ozPicked-over mixed fruit such as
  Blueberries, halved strawberries,
  Raspberries, and seedless grapes
1 1/2 cups 355mlSour cream
3 teaspoons 15mlFinely-chopped crystallized ginger
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlVanilla
3 tablespoons 45mlLight brown sugar - (firmly packed)

Recipe Instructions

Preheat broiler. In a small gratin or other shallow flame-proof baking dish arrange fruit in 1 layer. In a small bowl stir together sour cream, ginger, and vanilla and drop in dollops on top of fruit, spreading to cover fruit completely. Rub brown sugar through a sieve evenly over topping. Broil about 3-inches from heat for 2 minutes, or until brown sugar is melted. Serve immediately.
