Orange Ice Cream Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Frozen orange juice concentrate |
3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Sugar |
1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Orange zest |
1 cup | 237ml | Heavy cream |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Grand Marnier - or to taste |
Garnish | ||
Mint | ||
Candied orange zest |
In a large bowl combine frozen orange juice concentrate, sugar, milk and zest. In a separate bowl whip cream and vanilla to stiff peaks. Gently fold whipped cream into orange mixture to combine. Pour into a loaf pan and freeze overnight.
Scoop into decorative dishes and drizzle with Grand Marnier. Garnish with a sprig of mint and candied orange zest.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
