1 1/4 oz | 35g | Simple syrup, equal amounts of sugar and |
Water, heated until the sugar dissolves | ||
1/2 | Lime - cut into quarters | |
1 1/2 oz | 42g | Bacardi rum |
Club soda, or seltzer | ||
Sugar cane stalks - for garnish |
In the bottom of a highball glass, muddle together 5 fresh mint leaves, 1 1/4 ounces of simple syrup, 1/2 lime, quartered. Add the Bacardi rum. Top with club soda or seltzer to fill. Garnish with mint leaves and a branch of sugar cane.
