Mixed Green Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Romaine lettuce | |
1 | Cucumber - peeled and sliced | |
2 | Plum tomatoes - (to 3) - cored, and | |
Cut into small wedges | ||
1 | Red onion - sliced thin (small) | |
Olive oil - to taste | ||
Red wine vinegar - to taste | ||
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Tear the lettuce leaves into bite-size pieces and transfer them to a large salad bowl. Add the cucumber, tomatoes and onion. Sprinkle with the oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, and toss to combine.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
