Glazed Maroon Carrots Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Carrots - sliced diagonally |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Unsalted butter |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
In a large skillet combine carrots, butter sugar and water. Simmer carrots, covered until just tender, 6 to 8 minutes. Uncover and continue to cook until the water has evaporated and the butter and sugar have formed a glaze.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
