Crabmeat Martini With Scallions, Onion Seeds, Pepper Vodka Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Scallions - thinly sliced | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Onion seeds - plus |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion seeds |
1 | Lemon - zested and juiced | |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Extra-virgin olive oil |
1 | Pepper vodka - (1 1/2 oz) | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dry vermouth |
1 cup | 237ml | Cleaned watercress |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Fresh crab meat - picked through |
For shells | ||
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
In mixing bowl, mix scallions, 2 tablespoons onion seeds, lemon juice and zest, extra virgin olive oil, vodka, vermouth, watercress, crab meat and salt and pepper, to taste. Toss until all ingredients are mixed and divide among 4 martini glasses. Sprinkle with remaining onion seed and serve.
