Belgian Waffles Recipe - Cooking Index
2 1/2 cups | 156g / 5.5oz | Buckwheat flour |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | All-purpose flour |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sugar |
3 | Eggs | |
3 cups | 711ml | Buttermilk |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Melted butter |
Mix all dry ingredients together. Beat eggs into buttermilk. Whisk into dry mixture. Mix in melted butter last. I like to use a nonstick Belgian waffle maker. Take a 1-ounce ladle full of the mix and place in the center of the waffle maker. Follow regular instructions for your particular waffle maker.
