Rice Vinegar And Sesame Vinaigrette Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Unseasoned rice vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mirin (Japanese sweet cooking sake) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Toasted sesame oil |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Finely-minced shallot or green onion |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Whisk all ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Store covered in refrigerator up to 1 week.
This recipe yields about 3/4 cup.
