Date Shakes Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Pitted dates - coarsely chopped |
1 | Skim milk | |
2 | French vanilla ice cream | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Grated fresh nutmeg |
For each date shake, place 1/4 cup coarsely chopped pitted dates, a handful, in a blender. Add 1 cup cold skim milk and 2 big scoops of French vanilla ice cream. Grate 1/4 teaspoon of fresh nutmeg into blender and blend date shake until smooth.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
