Angel Food Cake With Warm Cherry Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

1		Bag frozen cherries - (12 oz)
1/4 cup	40g / 1.4oz	Golden raisins
1/4 cup	59ml	Apple brandy = (apple Jack brand recommended)
2 tablespoons	30ml	Butter
2 tablespoons	30ml	Sugar
1/4 teaspoon	1.3ml	Ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon	5ml	Ground cloves
4		Store-bought angel food cake
1/2 cup	118ml	Sour cream

Recipe Instructions

Combine the cherries, raisins, apple brandy, butter, sugar, and spices in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook until butter is melted and sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.

Put the angel food cake slices on 4 plates, and top each with a scoop of cherry sauce and a dollop of sour cream.
