Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 cups 219g / 7.7ozChopped, peeled apple
1/4 cup 49g / 1.7ozMelted butter
1/2 cup 118mlMilk
1   Egg
1 1/2 cups 93g / 3.3ozFlour
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
2 1/4 teaspoons 11mlBaking Power
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlCinnamon
1/2 cup 118mlSiugar
0/1   For the topping
1/4 cup 49g / 1.7ozSugar
2 tablespoons 30mlFlour
2 tablespoons 30mlButter (cut up and place over topping)
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlCinnamon
1/4 cup 59mlWalnuts (if desired)

Recipe Instructions

Mix apple and cake ingredients well. Place in 8x8 inch pyrex pan. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and walnuts and sprinkle over cake ingredients. Add butter to top. Cook at 400 for 25 minutes. Double the recipe for a 9x13 inch pan.
